During the COVID-19 crisis we have been looking for activities to keep our club active. We spoke with several STEM members about activities during the COVID-19 crisis. The group felt strongly that some sort of community service would be beneficial. We couldn't go out on the front lines, but, we could let others know that we were thankful for what they are doing. Based on those discussions, Tuscola's STEM Club members decided to prepare letters of appreciation for the essential workers providing lunch for our county's children. We prepared a set of 5 documents (letters & a support mini poster) that were given to 26 essential workers who worked from our high school site preparing and delivering meals for Haywood County children.
