Caffeine Ant Experiment
Abby Stewart found that ants that were given caffeine became aggressive toward one another. She caught the group attaching one on video. Abby also found that the caffeinated ants (on the right) built fewer and less stable tunnels. Many of the caffeinated ant tunnels collapsed!

Due to the COVID-19 school-in-place order, one STEM-E student is conducting his study at home. He has been testing which type of bulb offers the best light for growing plants indoors (LED, incandescent, halogen, or fluorescent).

We received a NASA grant to develop a kite program for our club! The plan is to train students on how to use the kites, then use data loggers to collect weather related information.
